Did you know that almost 50% of the population have gallbladder dysfunction?

The general function of the gallbladder is to store and concentrate bile, used for digestion. This system is dependant on the balance of pressures, but if this system is disrupted by even a seemingly small restriction, it can lead to more serious problems with the gallbladder, biliary system and even lead to issues with the pancreas.

Osteopathic treatment can release these restrictions and improve the balance of pressures.

Many people have sediment or sand in their gallbladder. It’s when the muck turns into a stone that people have irritation and pain. Restrictions of the gallbladder or tissues surrounding it disrupts the drainage of the gallbladder and the ducts, leading to stones. These stones are rough on the duct walls, irritating them. Mobilization of the gallbladder, and releasing tensions in tissues around the organ can have a profound affect on this system. A highly trained manual osteopath uses very precise techniques to drain the gallbladder, improving this system.
