Re-Open Newsletter June 22, 2020

Great news! The clinic is re-opening! After a long break, it will sure be nice to open the doors again.

I hope that you have kept healthy and well.

What's changed? Masks are now necessary in the clinic. I am happy to provide one or you may wear your own. Prior to arriving, please be certain to complete the online COVID-19 form you will receive with your appointment confirmation. Of course, if you have symptoms, please wait until you are symptom free prior to visiting the clinic.

As always, the clinic will be disinfected between patients (using both hospital grade disinfectants and essential oils for the air). Extra time is being allotted between patients to open the windows, create an airflow and exchange.

During my time away from treating patients, I have enjoyed working on enhancing my skills:

  1. Advanced Cranial Osteopathy course ~ Cranial osteopathy is so important for brain health, the nervous system and regulation of the body systems!

  2. Visceral Manipulation - Anatomy Series with my favourite Barral Institute ~ The liver, digestive organs, pelvic organs, bladder, kidneys, pancreas, spleen, gallbladder and lungs are amazingly complex and require the most skilled hands to detect abnormal movements and treat effectively.

  3. Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Techniques Addressing Respiratory Symptoms of COVID-19 (American Academy of Osteopathy) . A treatment plan for patients who have recovered from COVID-19 developed by some of the best Osteopaths in America. Simply brilliant!

  4. Laser Therapy vs Shockwave Therapy in the Treatment of Lateral Epicondylitis (Dr. Kunashko)

Please know that I am doing all I can to ensure a safe environment and to do my part to help stop the spread. The clinic works to keep fees as low as possible to ensure all have access to healthcare, charging at the low end of range. In order to cover rising operational costs, a small increase in fees has been put into place.

Looking forward to seeing you again!
