A passion for health and wellness led me down the paths of both kinesiology & osteopathy.

I studied kinesiology at the University of Windsor and was fortunate to be accepted into their co-op program where I had many hands-on learning experiences during clinical placements in various rehabilitation centres across Ontario. I graduated the 4 2/3 year program with honours, with a major in Movement Science. After more than 10 years of amazing experiences helping people recover from many conditions, I decided to fulfill my inner passions and return to school. After completing the accelerated Diploma in Manual Osteopathy for health care professionals, I wanted to dive deeper into this fascinating field and enrolled in the Doctor of Osteopathy (Euro) program. These full-time programs allowed me to meet the World Health Organization's requirement of 1000 hours of practical experience. I completed my thesis on the Sacroiliac Joint - arguably the most common site of back pain.
I believe having a thorough understanding of the many aspects of dysfunction or pain helps me to best help my patients. My repertoire of continuing education includes:
Advanced Cranial Osteopathy
Concussion/ Post Concussion
Visceral (Organs) Manipulation
Lymphatic Restoration Therapy, Cranial Lympathac Balancing
Neurostim Therapy (acupuncture with microcurrent)
Scar Release Therapy
Photobiomodulation ~ Low Level Laser Therapy
My ambitions also led me to complete:
200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification
Health Coach Certification (American Council on Exercise)

After seeing the incredible ability of the BioFlex Laser to accelerate healing and reduce or even eliminate pain, I decided to add this to my practice. I am a Certified Laser Therapist with Master Class and also a Certified Neurostim/ MPS Therapy Clinician. This incredible tool combines the ancient science of acupuncture with modern technology, and I've seen it stop pain in it's tracks.

In my practice, I combine my knowledge of anatomy and function to encourage the body to self-regulate. Finding a balance point will allow the body to function optimally. This is where the body is equipped to heal. Ending pain is a top priority, which is why I’ve put so much time and effort into advancing my education, practice and techniques.

I am a proud member of:
Osteopathy Chronic Pain Clinics of Canada
College of Registered Manual Osteopaths
College of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners of Ontario
College of Canadian Osteopaths
National Osteopathic Practitioners Association
